Thank You

Sending out thanks to Shaunna Vanleeuwen, Joni Blanford and Shellie Young who provided a much needed treat for the Teacher's of Terra Linda during the long days of SEP's. These ladies worked hard on behalf of the PTA to let the teacher's know that they are greatly appreciated. This is a big job and I know the teacher's are grateful. Thank you ladies for your hard work.

Get Involved Be Heard

Terra Linda PTA is looking for some people excited about our school and willing to work with our Teachers and Students. If you are interested in helping out with the PTA next year, please let us know NOW. We have many activities and events that are lots of fun to participate in and plan. PTA also provides you will the ability to get to know more about your child's school, teachers and administration as well as meet other parents who, just like you, want what is best for their children. There are so many positions. Many of which require very little time. Our goal is to distribute the responsibility so that each person has a smaller role that they focus on as well as contributes a voice to the way the PTA is run and the way it benefits your student.
The previous post lists the positions. If there are any that you are interested in for next year, please let us know as soon as possible (even if they are already filled). If you want more information about the position e-mail us at terralindapta@yahoo.com. We will get back to you as soon as we can.

Welcome to Our Blog

Terra Linda PTA is excited to have an easier way to get information about PTA to all of the parents, teachers and students at Terra Linda.
The PTA sponsors many fun and educational events throughout the year. Some of the events and activities are Mom and Son Night, Father and Daughter activity, Boo Hoo Breakfast (a breakfast for parents of kindergartens on the first day), Parents and Pastries, Classic Skate Nights, The School Carnival and the Birthday Wagon.
PTA also runs the Book Fair, Volunteer Appreciation (recognizing those who volunteer often with a little token of appreciation), Volunteer Coordination (finding volunteers for many of the school activities), Reflections, the Box Top program, soup labels as well as the Macey's receipt program. PTA provides an Appreciation Dinner for the teachers during SEP's and recognizes our Teacher's hard work during Teacher Appreciation Week.
This Blog will provide information about upcoming events sponsored by the PTA, ways to help get involved with your school and community as well as a resource to find out information about happenings that may effect our students, teachers or community. This has been a year that has shown many parents and community members demanding to be heard. This involvement has not gone unnoticed and good changes have come from it.
The PTA can be contacted by e-mailing terralindapta@yahoo.com
